Welcome to the Duke University Hospital Dietetic Internship Program Website

The Dietetic Internship Program is housed in the Department of Nutrition Services, a team of 44 clinical dietitians, 14 dietetic technicians. Our department is committed to providing the highest quality education through a full-time supervised practice experience that prepares graduates as entry-level dietitians and lifelong learners. The program emphasizes evidence-based, compassionate, and innovative nutrition therapy to improve the health of individuals and the community. Interns are trained in clinical nutrition therapy in a supportive learning environment that celebrates the diversity and dignity of all patients and staff.
